Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about the Phase 1 widget, website accessibility, and what to expect.

Does an accessibility widget make a website ADA compliant?

No. A widget may provide presentation preferences, but it does not automatically fix semantic HTML, keyboard traps, inaccessible forms, missing alternative text, captions, or other underlying barriers. Compliance depends on applicable requirements and the whole experience.

What standard should a website follow?

WCAG is a widely used technical standard. WCAG 2.2 is published by W3C, but the legally required version or criteria depend on the applicable law, contract, sector, and jurisdiction.

Does ADAComplier guarantee compliance?

No. We do not offer a guarantee or legal certification. A widget and limited review cannot establish compliance with every potentially applicable law.

Does the widget work with screen readers?

The widget should be tested with keyboard navigation and relevant assistive technologies before production use. Its availability does not mean every page or third-party component is screen-reader accessible.

Do you offer a full SaaS dashboard?

No. Phase 1 focuses on a reusable widget and its installation on websites. Dashboards, subscriptions, databases, and automated monitoring are outside the current scope.

What information should I include when contacting you?

Share the website URL, platform if known, the accessibility concern, and the kind of help you are seeking. Avoid sending passwords or sensitive personal information.

Are international accessibility laws identical?

No. Laws differ by jurisdiction, organization type, product or service, exceptions, enforcement, and effective dates. Always check the official current source for the relevant location.

Does an automated scan find every issue?

No. Automated tools can catch some detectable problems but cannot reliably assess every contextual, keyboard, cognitive, or assistive-technology issue. Combine automated checks with manual evaluation.
